Don’t look ahead there’s stormy weather Another road block in our way But if we go, we go together Our hands are tied here if we stay Oh, we said our dreams will carry us And if they don’t fly we will run Now we push right past to find out How to win what they all lost Oh-ah, oh-ah We know now we want more Oh-ah, oh-ah A life worth fighting for Oh-ah, oh-ah We know now we want more Oh-ah, oh-ah A life worth fighting for So let them say we can’t do better Lay out the rules that we can’t break They want to sit and watch it wither Their legacy’s too hard to take Oh, we said our dreams will carry us And if they don’t fly we will run Now we push right past to find out How to win what they all lost In their heads, hedging their bets, in their Eyes it shows When the beacon breaks, what then You ask they don’t know Oh tell me that I turn my back, well the Odds all stand beneath me And they all said I was misled, but now The odds all stand beneath me Oh-ah, Oh-ah They’re frozen to the core Oh-ah, Oh-ah A life worth fighting for Oh, we said our dreams will carry us And if they don’t fly we will run Now we push right past to find out How to win what they all lost Friday October 23rd @decksanddogs @bad.landb PHL @oremmatt PHL @headphone__eden PHL @jasontheory NY @psybod4 DEL @solarsonicsoundsystem NY In celebration of Halloween we present Drum and Bass☠️ We will be somewhere out there. "Vampire V. Werewolf" I asked "Vampire" Badlands has been doing music now for 40 years so you know vampire is true. The first show he was part of was "stop the violence" hip hop showcas at "TLO" not to be mistaken for "TLA'. Nope. Nowhere close to it. "That was ambient trance and early bass musicI did literally just 2 events in the 90’s" he said to me. 'You've never performed a late night party before"? "Nah" This will be his very first late night party. Badlands don't spin like you are used to for late night music. Not at all. It's a mixture of elevated and hybrid electronic music. Grime like you never heard before. Bass like you've never heard before. Hardcore like you've never heard before. It's his own sound. It's his own equipment necessary for this sound. This is something different This is Renegade stuff We are RENEGADE #philadelphia #underground #music by @bad.landb
