Five years ago, I stood outside the UFC APEX holding a sign. I had never been to a fight in my life. Security called Dana and told him a combat veteran was outside. He said, “Bring him to me.”

@danawhite welcomed a lost veteran in and treated us like royalty when he didn’t have to. That moment changed my life and lit a fire in my soul.

At the time, I had zero dollars. My wife and I were living off Boulder Highway in a camper trailer.

Five years later, I’m filming one of the coolest shows in Las Vegas with my brother Cash. We’re giving fellow veterans—who feel as lost as I once did—the same feeling I had sitting cage side with Dana.

It’s wild how life works. One act of kindness from @danawhite changed the entire trajectory of my life.

Happy Birthday, baby girl. ❤️

I can’t begin to explain how much I miss you. I can’t believe you’re turning 11 today, and once again I won’t get to spend your birthday with you.

Please never forget how deeply you’re loved. There hasn’t been a single day that I haven’t thought about you or hoped for the day we’re together again.

You also have two little sisters who can’t wait to meet you someday.

Until then, I’ll keep loving you, praying for you, and waiting.

2,300 miles, countless memories, and one incredible journey later… we finally made it to our new home as a family. ❤️ We’re beyond grateful for safe travels, this fresh start, and all the new memories waiting to be made in this next chapter of our lives.
