September🍁Overcame three different additions, got a NEW Apartment and gained a roommate, joined a Christmas CHIOR, did a staged reading play, and completed physical media CHALLENGE

**Additions Overcome! Quit soda cold Turkey starting Sept 1! (Anyone who lives in Utah knows this is a real issue here lol) this has made a huge impact in my overall mood, heath, skin and tiredness!
2 and 3 can be somewhat combined, September we did a PHYSICAL MEDIA CHALLENGE: no streaming, no Spotify or Apple Music, no social media, no online video games etc. Only intaking physical media, dvds, CDs, AND you can only intake what you can fit in an 11X11 box for the whole month!
This challenge was to be intentional about the media consumed.
The actual addiction I had to 1: Social media (lover of doom scrolling😉) and 2: Online Media (games, tv, news etc) was overwhelming and debilitating. This was a very hard addition to overcome.

Joined a Christmas choir called Haven it’s wonderful and so fun! Did a staged reading for someone’s thesis! This was something I had never done! So fun and challenging!

***more info-Main Takeaways: I highly recommend taking a social media break, this was so hard. I realized how bad it was on DAY 1! You can see I stated “I can’t watch tik tok in the SHOWER!” Lol 😂 I also think many of us scroll on Netflix for hours deciding to watch. Doing the physical media challenge really helped! Watching DVDs, listening to CDs really grew my appreciation for music movies! There is hundreds of movies on my “watch list” and I ACTUALLY watched them! Overall I am so grateful to know and remember I can do hard things! I am so proud! And so grateful I have a support system to challenge and push me to be better! by @badash180

2025 The year of work hard and play harder! Life update for those who I don’t see often! Working as a server still at PF CHANGS and working as a Medtech in memory/enhanced care and loving and thriving in both jobs!! I feel so lucky to love both my jobs 💕🥹 Loving SLC and our perfect apartment!!! And my amazing and so inspiring friendships 💕😍🥰🎉 we are partying up the best years of our lives! Also started therapy end of year! I actually love it and continuing to become the best person/friend/wife/etc I can be! HALLOWEEN 2024! I freaking love Halloween! Last year we dressed up as Rouge and Gambit from X-Men but more specifically from X-Man ‘97 and @carteruresk dressed as beast!! Everything in life is better with you 😌 Our wedding day was beautiful and life with you is even more so. I am the most happy when I’m with you! I love how much time we take to really know each other. At every date night we think of something new we haven’t told each other, even if it’s silly or from when we were kids we are always learning to love more. One year ago today I got to spend the best day of my life with so many amazing people! I am emotionally overjoyed when thinking of all of these beautiful people who have been there not only for my best day but also the tough ones too! Groomsman know how to show up! 🥳🥳 I love these boys just as much as my girlies! All of these guys have been part of our greatest years of life! Love them all so much! Thanks boys for showing up handsome as ever and partying hard through the night! Love you boys!! 🧡🥳🎉💣 Carter is Cameron’s best cousin and def the funniest 😂 Mike is cams childhood bestie and one of the most kind and smart people I know!! Vita is actually the funniest person i know and the most loyal mf you will meet, kaston is someone I aspire to be like, he is kind, smart and knows how to have a good time. My bridesmaids, but really my besties 💜 ahhh I just love these girlies with my whole heart! Bailey my all time favorite person (I guess beside my husband 😂😉❤️) has been there through it ALL! I wouldn’t be here today without her. 🥹🥹 Bek my most favorite roomate of all time!
