I hope everyone is having a sweet week thus far. I'm sharing my first time success growing Thompson green grapes. Have you grown grapes? Did you have success? Please share any helpful advice. Badass me . . . grow 100% of this meal in my urban garden. That's all the lettuces, tomatoes and beets. I did add some blue cheese that was not grown (haha) in my garden. LOL! My dressing is EVOO, ACV, mustard with seeds, salt & pepper. 🥬 #growmyownfood #urbangardener #saladlover #arizonagardener #healthylifestyle taken in Phoenix, Arizona by @badass_care

Make it inviting and they WILL come. We really love all of the wildlife that our yard attracts. Here is a Male Gila Woodpecker drinking from the hummingbird feeder in our backyard. Other birds can't grab the ring but woodpeckers and hummingbirds can. #woodpeckers #arizonabirds #phoenixarizona #arizona #backyardgarden #phoenix #urbangarden #urbangardening #phoenixgardening #arizonabirds #blackbirders #backyardbirding. by @badass_care

Would like to create a beautiful oasis that attracts the amazing wildlife? If you create an inviting environment, they will come. Living in the desert doesn't mean have to mean no flowers. Happy Monday! I hope everyone is enjoying some garden time on this fabulous day. Here is my final broccoli harvest of the season. I'm going to let a few stalks bolt so the bees can continue to enjoy and then I can collect seeds. I'm going to try making greens chips with the leaves. I've already added them so some soup.

Don't you just love eating from your garden? I used some of the carrots I harvested today in my lunchtime salad. Also, all of the lettuce and tomatoes (green, red and yellow) also from my garden.
