Im losing sight of who I am

The fragile self-imagine built up over years

All the time spent finding out who I am and who I want to be

It all seems like a distant memory.

Its not that the image seems cracked or broken

But that it looks black and white

As if I were colorblind.

I wonder if that imagine was ever colored

Or if thats only a memory planted to validate a possible self image

The same imagine I’ve unknowingly fallen back on for years.

I feel as if life is a line we’re all slowly progessing down.

Nobody knows where its going, some people leave early, but everyones in it.

I feel as if the day I made the decision to step out although I may have decided to stay I froze

As if the sight of what could be was so terrifying and infatuating that all I could do was stand still admiring all thats around me remembering why I’m in line to begin with

When youre walking towords the end your entire life sometimes you forget why you ever got in line

When I was snapped into reality everything was different

Since I wasn’t moving, people cut around

Everyone I had been walking with for so long seemed to vanish.

i want out again. by @badbetaz

They say things don’t get better, but you get stronger. But what happens when things get worse?

When the routine you grew into calling your life slowly crumbles at the hands of everyone you built it around

Every compromise you made you find out was nothing more than life to the other people

Peoples lives are always moving forwards, getting to the next best thing but im still here.

The same place I’ve been for 13 years

The same place I met many of the people who grew into my friends

The same place they visit on early morning runs

yet, im alone. by @badbetaz
