Pierogi fest day 3, in full Slavic gear (shirt and fan from Bratislava, Slovakia, necklace from Sopron, Hungary, and the non photo-d pierogi hat!)

Didn’t intend to get more dumplings, but Tata’s has Cuban And Chorizo pierogis!!! Alisha and I also got stopped to do an interview while in line as these girls were working for a company and were sent to pierogi fest to get ideas about innovation on pierogis- who better to ask then 2 area Slavic Americans who grew up making them and attend virtually every year, right?

They were both good. Of the 4 places I got pierogi from, all were great. Gosia’s had the best dough and prices (and you support the deaf community, too!), but Tata’s had the most flavor options (including 6 unique!). Kasia’s is a solid kind you can get frozen at grocery stores, and they’re always good. Dumpling house was good- though I wish they had the apple pie and Dubai chocolate pierogis again in addition to the chocolate peanut butter ones! taken in Pierogi Fest by @badbitchofthe219

If anyone remembers, my big ass poinsettia finally succumbed this year. RIP the Grandiflorum of the Sporkili Marches. May he bloom eternally.
