Cheers to everybody who came out to see us all over the last week or so. Was a real pleasure getting to see @klonns_jp and @zenocide_jp play each night. Truly special people. Big thank you to Dale, @rope_or_guillotine and @worlds_appreciated_kitsch for ruling the roads and looking after everyone. Also cheers to those who put on the gigs and put us up afterwards. Once again, we invite you to kick off your Roadburn experience on Wednesday night at The Spark. Our traditional pre-fest show gives you a chance to squeeze in a little more Roadburn before Roadburn really starts to Roadburn on Thursday afternoon!

This year we’ll have the first ever Crippling Alcoholism set on European soil, a special set from Bad Breeding where they’ll play Contempt in full, and an extended line up version of The Bird Experience. Not bad for a Wednesday night.

The Spark is free to attend, doors open at 7 pm taken in Poppodium 013 by @badbreeding

3 years after their insane gig in May 2023, @badbreeding return to @occii_amsterdam 🎉

BAD BREEDING (anarcho-punk, UK)
Hailing from Stevenage, England, the first new town to be declared under the 1946 New Town Act, Bad Breeding are an anarcho-punk four-piece delivering punishing blasts of ferocious noise that draws influence from the original British pioneers of the scene; Crass, Rudimentary Peni, and Flux of Pink Indians. More than perhaps any other contemporary punk band, Bad Breeding seem preternaturally able to make music that sounds the way it feels to live in today’s world.

KLONNS (new wave of Japanese hardcore, JP)
@klonns_jp is a Japanese hardcore punk band from Tokyo. Formed in 2016, the band advocates ‘NEW WAVE OF JAPANESE HARDCORE’. Klonns are one of the most promising and active bands coming out of Japan now, combining the explosive hardcore sound of the undisputed classics with the kind of raw emotions that make things as shocking and exciting as pissing on an electric fence.

ZENOCIDE (anarcho doom punk, JP)
Formed in 2004, Tokyo’s @zenocide_jp started as an authentic UK crust style band, while incorporating elements of anarcho punk, post-punk, black metal, industrial noise, and doom/sludge, to create their own unique dark soundscape.

@robberstomp (stompin’ hardcore, NL)
Dream team punk/hardcore band with members of Oust, Traumatizer, Angstmäler and Frontsector. Buckle up and grab your chains!
