1st MEDICAL MISSION COMPLETE ✅ Around 1,000 patients cared for!

My heart has been so full since the very first patient I cared for. Serving the people of St. James was such an awesome experience, made all the more special because of my family’s roots on this island. There would be no me without the love, resilience, and collective strength of the people of Jamaica. My life is full of full-circle moments, and this was one of them.

I feel so BLESSED to be ABLE to be a provider and make a difference like the one we did this past week! I never really dreamed of making an impact beyond the walls of an office, but God continues to surprise me. Just when I think I’ve seen the extent of what I’m meant to do, He reveals another beautiful dimension in which I can be of service to Him, and nothing gives me a greater sense of purpose.

To be able to pour back into the very place that poured so much into the generations before me is a blessing beyond words. 😭❤️ taken in Montego Bay, Jamacia by @badddgalgigi

Started off nursing week with a BANG and did my first speaking engagement as a women’s health nurse practitioner! 👩🏽‍⚕️EEEEKKKK! We talked all things prevention, screenings, abnormal GYN symptoms, and how women can advocate for themselves in the doctor’s office. Thank you @backtotherootshealing for honoring me with a platform to serve and receive all the love from this wonderful group of ladies! Happy Nurses Week to all my nurses and don’t forget to impart the knowledge you have been blessed to receive to strengthen your community ✨ by @badddgalgigi
