WWRC,

Soppy post alert. To avoid any confusion moving forwards for the club - I’ve decided to step away.

Putting it obviously I’ve lost interest in short distance running at the minute & I am focused on other challenges - @roadtodublin2027 for example 🚴🏻 however I’m also stepping away to focus on my own mental health and wellbeing at the min. Putting it mildly I’m depressed and suffering with highs & lows with my ADHD. I’m good - this is just the right thing to do as part of this journey 🧠

The club has been a huge part of my life meeting great friends, having great socials and loved every second of running it! 🏃‍♂️

I wanted to leave on a huge high of @truckfestival and @runswindon and I’ve done that. Michael & Millie will continue to run the club in the same fashion and I’ll see you there from time to time. The clubs is in good hands 🟠

Also don’t want to let my friends @charles_harding_estate_agents down for this months run so this will be my last see you on the 12th ✌️

Who knows what’s next - been looking at Ironmans in Belgrade. 🥜

Manchester Marathon.

4:37:31 Chip Time
4:34:26 Marathon time

Soppy post alert. When I started running in 2023 I was 15 stone, heavy and in the worst place mentally & physically I’d ever been in having given up all sport. I was also dealing with grief of a loved one that I could not accept years on. To even be on that start line was something I’d have laughed at a while back.

I met the best group of people at Steam Rollers who inspired me to run my own club and push my limits.

Fast forward today to 4 stone down & completed my first Marathon and in the best place in my head for a long time.

All this and at the Theatre of Dreams to start 🇾🇪

The 1% club. There is a light that never went out. 🏃‍♂️ by @badders89

London Marathon 2027. Shameless plug 🔌

Swindon half season is now complete and…. I am running the London Marathon 2027 for @centrepointuk on behalf of @nationwidebuildingsociety 🏃‍♂️

🏠 Centrepoint UK is a charity supporting young people aged 16–25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

They provide safe accommodation, housing and financial advice, education, employment support, and health and wellbeing services — helping young people build independent futures. 💙

Please consider sponsoring me taking London on for the first time for a great cause link in the Bio!

If you can’t sponsor - and we all can’t - please interact with the post to get it out there ✌️
