This past week has been very challenging. I’ve had a lot of pain and other difficulties. The doctor told me today to remove the splints wash my feet and do foot exercises. I’m supposed to bend my foot back-and-forth 50 times. I can move the right one, but I can barely move the left one. Afterwards, the wrappings and splints have to go right back on. The splints help ensure that my feet stay at a 90° angle while healing. I’m hoping this next week will be a better one! by @baddiegetsfed

I’ve had a really rough couple of days. Along with the pain from the surgery on my heels, I’ve had excruciating stomach pain and nausea. I’m praying that I will get some relief so I can go back to just having the heal pain. t i’m hanging in
there like a true baddie and trying to stay positive. I know that will be imperative to my healing journey.

👩‍🦼ADAPTING, NOT STOPPING 🩷

Well, Baddies… life threw me a plot twist I definitely didn’t order. I fell and broke both of my heels, had surgery, and now I’ll be using a wheelchair for the next two months while my body heals. ❤️‍🩹

So what am I doing? Practicing in my new wheels. ♿️✨

Right now, even the simplest things look different. I’m learning how to move through the world in a new way, giving my body the time it needs to recover, and reminding myself that a temporary change in how I move does not change who I am.

A true Baddie adapts. 💕 She learns. She adjusts. She finds a new way forward. And when life forces her to slow down, she uses that time to heal—not to give up.

For the next couple of months, my wellness journey is going to look a little different, and that’s okay. Rest is productive. Healing is progress. And adapting is strength.

The Baddie may be in a wheelchair for now…but she’s still moving forward. 🍒♿️💖

Different wheels. Same Baddie Energy. ✨

Healing after getting surgery on both of my heels. The good news is my surgeon said the surgery went really well. I’m so grateful for the doctors and nurses who have taken such good care of me. I’m also very grateful for my sisters and my mom who have been by my side in the hospital. I have a long road to recovery, but the good news is, I will recover from this! Let the healing begin!

Had a bit of a set back! I fell off the top step of a 7 foot ladder and broke both my heels! I had to call the paramedics to transport me to the hospital to get x-rays. I ended up needing surgery to fix the broken bones in my heels. The injury could’ve been so much worse, so I’m trying to stay very positive! At least I had my cute pink leopard jammies on when I was taken to the hospital! 🩷🩷🩷 #healing #healingjourney #baddiegetsfed #baddie by @baddiegetsfed
