To the world, he was the legendary George Sherwood, popular race car driver. King of the minis. To me, he was my Bready ❤️. The happy, always telling a dad joke, knower of all things cars, and Superman in my eyes. Far from perfect but the best grandfather a girl could ask for. And to think Sunday was your birthday 😢

I never imagined we’d be facing this heartbreak only a month after burying grandma but I hope you all are dancing together again in heaven. 🕊️

Until we meet again. Forever your chi-chin ❤️ by @baddinblack

One week ago today my grandma gained her wings. At 8:18 AM, she transitioned in the most peaceful way imaginable, surrounded by family.

We’ve been celebrating her life for a week straight but the hardest part is not being able to hear her voice or see her smile at me and say something feisty.

Nothing prepares you for feeling of the world moving on without your loved one. My heart is broken but I know she’s in a better place dancing. I find peace knowing she’s no longer in pain.

The woman raised me as her own child, walked me to the bus stop everyday, taught me how to pray, helped teach me to drive, sang and slow danced with me, called me everyday 3-4x to tell me the same labrish, cleaned my make up brushes before my appointments, and begged me to give her eyebrows even after telling me how she didn’t need make up like me 🥹, miss you my girl.

Til the next time we dance again granny nanny. Come and visit me in my dreams sometime. ❤️🕊️ by @baddinblack

Singlehandedly the BEST and worst concert of my life. 45-song set list with some of my faves was well worth the wait. Jay owes me nothing but a pack of Red Bulls 😭 #Night3 #ExtraInnings #JayZ #datenight taken in Yankee Stadium by @baddinblack

This is what dreams are made of. ✨

Coming back from maternity leave and jumping straight into planning a championship celebration without even knowing if we’d ever get the chance to see it through felt like the wildest leap of faith. With some boss ass women on the field and behind the scenes, we pulled it off (we did it Joe 😫)!

December marks 10 years in NYC for me, and never in a million years did I think this city would lead me here…building my resume, celebrating champions, and doing work that fills my heart.

These players get to do what they love, so I get to do what I love. Creating moments like this for them, for this city, and for our fans made me shed a thug tear.

Monday was magic. Cheers to those 2x CHAMPS - @gothamfc
