A developmental showing of a piece with so many working titles I'm not sure which one to pin it with today. I presented this at the end of my time in Vienna last August for the ImPulsTanz ATLAS choreographic program. I set off on this overseas journey almost a year to the day.

Thanks to @irisdelys for generously taking these images.

“Orígenes🍂,” a new dance choreography by Daniel Navarro Lorenzo with AUSTI Dance and Physical Theatre and dancing with Madeleine Backen.

Part of the “twobytwo” double bill at the “That’s Two, Thank You” a festival of duets, presented by FORM Dance Projects and Riverside Theatres. From March 28 to April 3, 2025, at Riverside Theatres in Parramatta, Sydney Australia 🇦🇺 tickets on Bio

“Set in a future where nature has withered, Orígenes explores humanity’s fading connection with the planet. Through dance, it captures the bittersweet beauty of a world where life no longer grows, leaving only memories. Amidst a synthetic world, it mourns the loss of nature and seeks fleeting moments of joy, connection, and hope.”
