A year ago I jumped on a plane to Indianapolis to photograph @taylorswift and it was everything.

I was just starting to bounce back, and this was part of that energy to push me in the right direction.

That weekend was filled with other concerts, like the @arkellsmusic who played the @scotiabank.saddledome and then the @thegarrysband who rocked the @theprairieemporium all in one go! by @badenroth

Greet Van Fleet is charging back into the historic @scotiabank.saddledome with their hypnotic gold act that is sure to mesmerise and take hold of everyone during the @calgarystampede ⚡️

With @ofmonstersandmen opening this year’s @calgaryfolkfest, it felt like a full-circle moment.

My history with this Icelandic 🇮🇸 powerhouse goes back to their very first Canadian tour, when I first photographed them at @mformontreal and through events with the Icelandic Consulate celebrating Icelandic music beyond Björk’s remarkable legacy.

Dolly Parton, a true gem of a soul.

When she made her last visit to the @scotiabank.saddledome in 2016, it was a special moment for Calgary. Beyond the music and the unmistakable presence, what stood out was her warmth. She was there for everyone, generous with her time and gracious with every person she met.

A true icon, in every sense of the word.
