POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Late New Year 2025 post! I’ve procrastinated putting this together for so long, and it was mostly due to being unreasonably stuck in my own head.

As I’ve improved on my swing and my game on the latter half of 2024, I was continually getting more and more disappointed of the swing I had and was embarrassed to post the footage. However, I think upon reflection after the new year, I said the same thing about my swing from 2023 going into 2024. If anything, I’ve made significant improvements year after year and I should be proud of myself for continuously striving to better myself.

I realize golf isn’t just about a pretty swing, it’s also about everything else that comes with playing golf, like being with your friends, and the beautiful natural scenery you experience. Posting these videos now, not only will it be a good remind to myself of where I once was as I become a better player, but also memories of all the beautiful places I’ve travelled to, the experiences you make with your friends and the new friends you meet .

From now until the start of the golf season, I will be sharing more photos and videos of my 2024 year!

My 2025 goals are to continually improve, and be unafraid of sharing my experiences!

Cheers to the great things to come!

My collection of Miuras through the years.

Katsuhiro Miura dedicated his life to crafting the perfect irons, and the Baby Blades became his most celebrated masterpiece—the pinnacle of his passion and precision. They’re notoriously hard to hit, demanding absolute excellence from the golfer, but when you strike one pure, the reward is a high like nothing else.

I knew Miuras were special the first time I hit them. That warmth that travels through your body on a pure strike is addictive, a feeling that keeps you wanting more. They are timeless works of art, and the feel is unmatched. My first set was the PI-401s, their only game-improvement model. I moved quickly to the KM700s, more unique and far less forgiving, and they stayed in my bag until now.

Mr. Miura passed earlier this year, and when the company released these limited KM-Baby Blades in his honor, I knew I had to order them. They’re beyond my current skill level, but no growth comes without challenge and adversity. These will push me toward the precision and control I want in my game.

In a small way, I like to believe I’m preserving his legacy, his artistry and craftsmanship while pursuing my own mastery of golf.

Did I actually play golf in Japan or was it just a beautiful dream?
