Hanging out in Couvet, Switzerland (the birthplace of absinthe) for a couple of days tasting.

It’s been 20 years since I was here and a lot has changed. A ton of new flavors and lots of new friends. Best of all was hanging out with some old friends.

We stopped at La Clandestine Distillery this morning to see Claude-Alain.

Here’s a fun video of him explaining the challenges of keeping the flavors the same when the botanicals keep changing.

Definitely doing a tasting party when I get back. by @badmagician

So grateful to the security team at Kaiser mission bay. Scumbag tried to steal my scooter. He was thwarted by security here. You can see that he was really bold. Didn’t stop when they confronted him. Crazy! by @badmagician

It’s time to play name that show.

Dark Kabaret this year is going to have a distinctly piratical flavor.

Right now I’m thinking simple: Dark Kabaret Pirates

I bet you can do better. Best show name gets free tickets. I will also accept ideas, jokes, or whatever you like. So don’t hold back. You can post here or private message me if you’re shy. by @badmagician

I just got this for my sister in law and her wife.

Yes it is:
The Big Book of Lesbian Horse Stories.

Byline is: When these sapphic sisters saddle up, ecstasy is only a hoofbeat away.

We had to crack it open. It’s amazing. Favorite line so far.

Then they were in the bedroom and Terry showed ginger that her horse, Silky wasn’t the only one she could get to the finish line.

Apparently you can’t get this book in Germany where they live. Very hard to get here either. Fortunately the Friends of the San Francisco Library had a copy to sell. Mailing it out to Germany now I am fascinated this very specific, niche erotica. by @badmagician

I’ve been working on bringing John C. Reilly new show, Mister Romantic, to the Great Star Theater for a couple of months. This is going to be something special.
