We’re beyond excited to announce that our good friend Rodrigo will be taking over our kitchen every Sunday and Monday, serving up his very own Bad Manners Tacos and more!
Starting Sunday 5th July, join us for delicious tacos, ice-cold beers, cocktails & wines.
And yes… this means we’ll officially be open 7 days a week! 🌮
Rodrigo Cervantes is a Mexico City–born chef whose cooking blends nostalgia, indulgence, and the comfort of childhood cravings. Drawing inspiration from Mexican street food, old-school diners, and deeply personal food memories, his style balances bold flavours with playful irreverence. Over the years he has cooked at Koya, Rita’s and Smoking Goat, before becoming the creative force behind the cult favourite Bad Manners — known for its loud flavours and unapologetically maximalist approach to Mexican food.

Goodbye, for now.

With a heavy heart we’ve decided to call time on our residency in Shoreditch.

We are sad to become another statistic. The move from Hackney was more challenging than we expected, not helped by the tough trading environment.

A big thanks to everyone who’s supported us in Shoreditch, and Hackney before that. We’ll be running as normal (Wed-Sun) until 7th of June, so still plenty of time to grab a burrito or two before we leave.

Also a special thanks to Mads and Rae who’ve held things together so well in the kitchen over the last year - we wouldn’t have made it this far without you.

We have lots of hopes for the future of Bad Manners, however for now we’re going to take some time off regroup. Hopefully we’ll come back bigger and better and do hit us up for pop-ups, residencies, events or other opportunities in the meantime.

Long live the sausage burrito!

Parked up in Shoreditch Church Yard, this shiny little trailer is serving some of the BEST breakfast burritos in London — no exaggeration. 🤯
We smashed the sausage burrito — crisped wrap, soft omelette inside, loads of American cheese, pickles, salsa roja and TATER TOTS (game changer 🚨).
Oh, and their Beef Barbacoa Burrito! Served for lunch, Slow-braised beef, Mexican rice, lime crema, beans, pickles, salsa verde… basically US-level burrito quality in East London. 🇺🇸 🇬🇧

Breakfast or lunch? We’re still arguing — but both absolutely slap. And yes, they pour a seriously good coffee too. ☕️ 🔥
