🔥BADSAUNA BIG ATTIC SALE🔥

for the last two years my life’s work has been sat in a weird attic above some framing machinery in our shop

Im about to dust it all off and bring it down for a rotating solo show of work at @rabbetglasgow. As soon as a piece sells I’ll probably put something new in its place. It was a pleasure to be reunited with some old works today and I’m excited to share them with you from tomorrow.

Hello, for a limited time, to help fundraise (I promise soon to be revealed!) I am offering a limited number of Portrait slots.

If you’re in Glasgow then we can arrange for you and/or a friend/beloved/child to come and sit for a portrait (I’ll even make you a coffee!) Or if you’re further afield then paintings can be done from a selection of photographs that you send me.

Slide through for a number of examples from through the years. There’s also another recent post on my page with more examples!

2 set sizes on offer (but please message if you would like to arrange something larger, or to accommodate more people)

sharing some recent pet portraits that have been received by their owners (some absolute bangers that I can’t share with you yet...)

it’s been a pleasure working on these again after the 2+ year hiatus and had some really lovely and touching responses to the portraits! Huge thanks to everyone who has commissioned so far

i’m still waiting on the stars aligning, so i still have a wee bit of availability for pet portraits if you’re interested in one of your own

Spring Bouquet with Teapot

I’d just bought a new teapot and my kids picked a lot of beautiful daffodils in the park that I needed to document

From my series of table-works at night once everyone was asleep. It came just after the Porridge piece and I pushed the impasto even further. Huge lashings of beeswax medium and splatting some lovely lead white around. Seriously thick and only just starting to skin over in parts.

IRL is a lot more abstract and sculptural. Lovely to look at. Got loads of ideas for developing this further

Looking forward to when I get a chance to prep another canvas for some oil colour! by @badsauna

Hiya,

Listing some key-works / framed bits as part of my *unannounced* and *unofficial* fundraising drive.
