Review 87. @badthingsmovieuk is a fun gory UK horror dealing with the dangers of AI. I enjoyed this film a lot. Watched it twice back to back. Everyone involved did a great job with it. Just watched this. Enjoyed. Come along with a group of punk youth on a hiking trip, who have their plans ruined by an escaped AI virus thats sole purpose is to erase everyone over the age of 21. Film starts off with a couple of perverts. One dressed for the beach, one dressed for Arkham Asylum. They have a clambake. Some old dude shows up and clears his head after a lead injection. Moving along, we meet our hikers, and their guide Mr. T, who is dressed like Henry Fonda and Richard Dreyfuss, and he pities the fools who dont follow rules. Gary Oldman fles a plane by and waves. The gang hike around, take photos, and commune with nature. This is also the first film you will ever see someone tell an owl to "go fuck itself". The group loosens up and learns a bit from each other here. Mr T. Tells of the dangers of hedgehogs. They smoke weed and share trauma. They find Tony naked in the woods and discover that its the bikini perv from the beginning of the film. They take her back and she escapes Houdini style and then gives Mr. T a shave. Tony puts everyone up on the news. Theres vomit and shit starts going crazy. Bootleg Dracula flys by again and intercepts a rocket before coming in hot, and landing the hard way. The army shows up, the new kids show they give zero fucks. They then make their escape and get ramped up by becoming surprise babysitters. Some car perverts find out that they are in fact, doing it "wrong". We catch back up with Hike Club and they go swimming and then befriend some pregnant bejeweled hippie, who has a flying R2D2. She explains to them about designing the virus that deletes crusters. A formal dinner goes crazy with cutlery on fake ass Bill Burr, then they do a drinking game, and have a cricket chainsaw fight to a drum & bass soundtrack. Film finales with junkyard karate and a rude baby. The end. The nature shots of this film go crazy. Theres various shots of evolving images using AI that are pretty cool. This film also has Lotto and ice cream, Bogglins, a guy named Harry Ball, border collies, a turtle, cybernetic implants, an axe murder, and yes, theres buttcheeks. I would watch a sequel. Medium replay value, 2 karate fights. 5/10 Bye Bye Mans. taken in UK by @badthingsmovieuk
