SUNN commission for @24hr_bus_stop ,

I very much enjoyed working on this set of commissions. I really wanted to embody the complete context of the music they create, capturing not just the mood of the tracks but also giving a representation of the band itself. This project is inherently tied to social media, pop culture and online culture as a whole and I wanted that to be signified in the artwork. Using ASCII art, pixelisation, distorted ratios, stock imagery,(but like the kind that’s BLATANTLY stock photos), and even drawing inspirations from meme culture (slide 2) to tie this in symbolically was quite fun to do. I really let my mind run free on these and settled on many decisions out of instinct rather than depth of thought which made the end result much more gratifying. (when didn’t end up looking like shit)

Quick Surf Club Gig Poster 🏄🏼‍♂️
I updated my instagram for the first time in a year last week and realised all my posters no longer fit instagrams grid format and that made me very sad 😢

At least they still look nice in feed. Anyways, delighted to have gotten a super S into a design and i think i may do it again and no one can stop me.

I also put a secret little moustache and goatee on my man on the middle hehe. by @badumpstxr

Seth Almighty ⛰️

Two more commissions for my dear pal SETH RACKARD for his debut single and gig respectively. I wish i put a black outline on his name in the first one now but hindsight is a hero i guess. Both of these feature the gorgeous photography of @thomaslaraleonard who you guys should absolutely check out if you like photos and seth rackard.

Speaking of whom, you should listen to his new single and go to his gig in limerick. 💋

thanks for looking my lil dumpster divers 😇
