I am making a name for myself
in Hollywood styling luminaries like writer/ actress Natasha Rothwell (Insecure, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Wonder Woman 1984), WNBA 2022 #2 Draft Pick NaLysaa Smith (Puma), tv writer/ producer Lauren Ashley Smith (HBO's A Black Lady Sketch Show).

I am very passionate about the under-representation and lack of knowledge in styling and caring for ethnic and textured hair in the production/editorial and salon industries. I strive to highlight this issue and be apart of the change needed.

My work caught the eye of celebrity Hairstylist to Issa Rae, Felicia Leatherwood, which led her to signing me to her agency, an exclusive management company that represents celebrity hairstylists and makeup artists.

I have recently launched @baebarla to service brides in the Los Angeles and surrounding areas.

Dani’s communication is timely and direct, and she’s receptive to feedback to achieve your hair vision. As a WOC with wavy curly hair, I’m extra cognizant of hair stylist techniques and products. I was truly impressed with my bridal updo not requiring a lot of heat or heavy hair spray.
