you and me that’s my whole world. (and gus 🐈‍⬛).

Some days, joy feels really hard. But we’re learning that two things can be true at the same time: we have beautiful friends, family, and are living moments we once dreamed of… and still, it can feel like something is missing. There’s an ache in us that words can’t fully explain.

We know there will come a day filled with little laughter, tiny hands reaching for us as mom and dad, and watching our two souls create beautiful little humans. I just wish the road to get there didn’t carry so much sadness, anger, grief, and pain.

We will continue to trust in His timing, the same timing that led us to each other. And hold onto the belief that He wouldn’t place this calling on our hearts if it wasn’t meant to happen.

To those walking this road too; you are not alone, you are not broken, and your story is still unfolding. Your pain is real, your hope matters, and there is strength in continuing to believe even on the hardest days.
