BAGR is a live auction platform where hip-hop producers make beats from scratch on stream and sell each one exactly once.

A session can start from a blank project and end with a finished beat, built in front of a room that's helping shape it in real time.

Sessions like that pull in all kinds of people. Some come to watch a producer work. Others come to weigh in on the chat, find their next sound, or lock exclusive rights to a beat.

Now each of them finds their place: they can watch a room live, shape the beat from the chat, and bid while it's still being made. The winner gets the WAV, the stems and an exclusive license, and the beat comes off BAGR for good.

If you're a producer or an artist looking for beats nobody else will ever license, the invite-only beta opens this fall. by @bagrapp

¹ In the beginning was the Beat, and the Beat was leased, and the Beat was with everyone;

² And lo, the artist went forth unto the Beat of Stars, and bought that which four hundred had bought, and was swiftly outdone.

³ And he was sore ashamed, and spake not of it, but prayed in his heart for a place where the Beats & Buyers, were 1 of 1.

BAGR is not for everyone.

BAGR is for the producer on the fringes.

Who doesn't follow the crowd.

Who thinks differently. Then acts accordingly.
