I shot this music video like 2 years ago but couldn’t be bothered to post any work on social media for the longest time. Making an attempt to get better at doing that.

Inspiration/theme for this video was old horror movies, and we drew a lot from The Thing with saturated blues and oranges.

This weather has me wishing it was summer again, filming with homies, getting cooked by the sun, being aggressively blasted with 100psi aerosol sunscreen, and shotgunning cold brew coffees on location. by @bagshawsteve

“To me dancing is everything. It’s how I express myself, it’s how I escape from things that are difficult, it’s how I bond and build relationships with people that have come to mean the world to me, and it’s how I build what I want my future to be. “Dance to me means “expression”. Something that you always hear is that actions speak louder than words and what better way to prove that than with the artform of dance. What I love about the Waacking world is that it focuses mainly on expression. It focuses on how someone is feeling. What someones personality is like. At the end of the day everybody walks, everybody runs. We can do these basic functions as humans… but dance allows us to be more individual and to find our unique way of moving. I think everyone should partake or move their body the way that makes them feel good, makes them feel happy. And I feel most importantly its just - no judgement. Absolutely no judgement. Don’t care. “Dance means a lot of things to me. I think that the rhythms of dance were the first things my dad spoke into my ears when I was born. So dance music has been in the family since my dad… nobody before him did it. Since then it has opened so many doors for me In life. I’ve met some amazing people, worked with some insanely talented artists around the world. Dance took me to England, dance brought me to Canada, dance is now taking me back to India. I’m getting to travel, its opened so many other doors for me. I don’t want to say dance is life but life is dance.” - @indianamehta

“To me dance is freedom… freedom from being in my head. And even more than that - dance is healing. There is so much that needs to be expressed, and as soon as the music starts I’m not in my head anymore. I’m in my body for a moment. I get to express the things I need to express and feel everything that I need to feel. Immediately, dance is freedom, but ultimately dance is healing. I feel like I’m flying… but at the same time I feel very grounded. I guess that’s what it means to be in your body” - @joshcezar
