Here in the Mountains of Central North Santo (Vanuatu) lies multiple Baha’i Villages. Recognising the profound benefit of both spiritual and material education, the community consulted about how they could overcome the challenge of travelling long distances to send the children to school. This lead to the community working together to form their own community schools inspired and structured based off of the Ruhi Institute’s program for the Spiritual Education of Children. Teachers started training, school supplies and the like were walked through the mountains, and the community worked together as one singular body.
