tonka beans, prized for their sweet, vanilla-like fragrance, evoke memories of warmth and comfort yet, beneath their delicate scent lies a complex tapestry of emotions the ache of nostalgia.
the sting of rue, and the bittersweet tang of love.

the tonka beans are the core and potent metaphor for the power of scent to transport back to specific moments in time, reigniting memories and emotions that might otherwise remain dormant;
on a journey through the complexities of relationships, love, betrayal, heartbreak, and self-doubt.

i’ve spent the past 4 years finding my sound aswell as learning and finding out more about my craft and my offering.
i started writing and recording this project in 2023. i recorded each record solo to encapsulate my most vulnerable, raw and authentic thoughts, emotions and memories. each melody ,sonic scape ,lyric and song is linked to a specific scent of nostalgia associated with past moments , emotions , feelings , beings and circumstances. i hope it resonates with you.
