after 18 years of wrestling with the Lord and my flesh, I give it all to God. strength to stand 2025, you will forever be a monumental moment in my life. after rejecting the Lord’s call for years, I knew I needed him. I knew I could not do anything on my own. I was facing many hidden battles and struggling with what felt like the weight of the world. the Lord has been working in my life and I finally surrender all to Him. when I was walking to the room to talk to someone at sts, my heart was racing and my head was spinning. personally, I thought I was going to pass out. I knew God was calling me to come home and the devil was trying to get me to turn back around. the devil will use every excuse to try to get you to not accept Jesus. “you do not have to do this right now, just do it tomorrow,” “what will this make them think?” and “you have time” are a few excuses the devil used on me and I listened to him for many years. but, the feeling of joy and peace that overcomes you when you let the Lord in is indescribable. we will never be enough, but in Christ alone our hope is found. I will forever be grateful for the embracing support that I received from believers around me. you truly never know the impact you can have on someone’s life through a simple hug. always remember that there is a Father who loves you and cares for you, no matter what. we are what God treasures. we cannot live life to the fullest without God. there will always be a hole that cannot be filled. we will always feel empty inside. we will never be worthy. so, take the leap of faith and trust in Jesus. believe me, it will be the best decision you will ever make. thank you Jesus. ❤️ by @bailee.velotta
