Motherhood can make it feel like everyone else got the friendship memo and you somehow missed it.
.
The moms who already have their group texts. The friends who have been doing life together for years. The invites you weren’t part of.
.
But please don’t mistake what you can see of someone else’s friendships for the whole story.
.
There are moms sitting in the school pickup line wondering the same thing you are: Is it too late to find my people?
.
It’s not. You can start small. Say hello. Make the invitation. Be willing to go first.
And if you know a mom who might be feeling this way, send this to her. She deserves the reminder that she’s not the only one.

Ever had a friendship take a turn you didn’t see coming? Or watched God do something completely different than what you had planned?

Same. It’s not always easy to trust Him when the story doesn’t go the way we expected. But maybe the unexpected ending, the new beginning, or even the friendship that looks different than we hoped is part of a bigger story God is telling.
