How have you put up with me for this long?! It feels like just yesterday we were sitting by the river, eating burritos, and you were asking me to be your girlfriend. Now, here we are—one whole year later—and somehow, you’re still around! I don’t know how you do it, but every single day, you find new ways to make me love you even more. Whether it’s the little things you do or the way you always know how to make me smile, I’m beyond grateful to have you by my side.

This past year has been filled with so many amazing memories, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us. Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!

For those who don’t know, today isn’t just Valentine’s Day for me and Tyler—it’s the day that started everything between us. Here’s a short version of our story:

We met at the physical therapy clinic where I work, and of course, I noticed him—because who wouldn’t notice a very handsome 6’8” guy? He claims he noticed me too! On this day last year, I finally decided to make a move and ask that very handsome 6’8” guy what he was doing for Valentine’s Day. He said, “Just shooting basketball, probably.” That’s when I knew he was single!

That night, I added him on all the social media platforms. I even asked my boss if it was okay to pursue things, and not only did she say yes, but I got some brownie points for asking😂😂 That moment sparked our relationship, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Here’s our story:

Where did you guys meet? We met at my workplace and I asked him what he was doing for Valentine’s Day and that’s how I found out he was single

First date: he took me to the river and we have fetches burritos

How long have you been together: 10 months🫶🏻🫶🏻

Who is older: him

Who was interested first: me 😁

Who is taller: Him

Who said I love you first: me 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Most impatient: Me

Most sensitive? For sure me

Loudest: both of us are pretty loud😂😂

Most stubborn: me😊

Cooks better: both of us are pretty good at cooking (I think I cook more tho)🫶🏻

Better morning person: me he’s the night owl

Better driver: In my opinion me

Most competitive: both of us - we are both 1st borns😂

Funniest: definitely him

Where do you eat out the most? Freddy’s if we do eat out 😂

Who is more social? Him for sure

Who plans date night? He does 🙌🏼

Who picks where you go to dinner? So funny story Tyler actually made a restaurant wheel of places one of us hasn’t been or neither of us has been and whatever it lands on that’s where we go😁😁

Who is the first one to admit when they are wrong? We are both hard headed and try to prove our point but in the end we eventually say if we are wrong

Who sings better? Him

Hogs the the remote? Him😂😂

Spends the most? He does but he spoils me so all is good 😂😂

Did you go to the same Elementary school? No

Where is the furthest you two have traveled? Maui and that was the greatest 💕

Who drives when you are driving? He does I’ve learned to just try and be quiet when he drives😂😂
