I am officially endometriosis free as of yesterday! What a LONG journey this has been. Thank you for all the prayers and sweet words!!! 🎗️🎗️🎗️

Thank you to my wonderful surgeon @nezhatceana who took my pain seriously and made me feel seen and heard after being dismissed by OBGYNs my entire life. I had a previous laparoscopic surgery that did not work with another OBGYN and Dr. Nezhat came in and took over. He was able to fully remove the endometriosis from my uterus, bladder, and bowels, do a presacral neurectomy, and remove my appendix and an ovarian cyst. Endometriosis is a full body disease and had completely consumed my life. I never knew when I was going to have a flare or be in pain. It was hard to walk, drive, work, talk, and sit at all when I was in these flares and it took a daily toll on my energy levels and mental health due to inflammation. It affected my normal bodily functions due to the organs it was attached to. Needless to say this surgery was desperately needed. Thank you to everyone in my life who never made me feel like a burden for being in pain and for just being there for me. And thank you to my family for always taking my pain seriously even when I was younger. I appreciate everyone and all the kind words! ❤️❤️❤️ @endofound #endometriosis #endometriosiswarrior💛 #laparoscopicsurgery #endometriosisexcision #endo taken in Atlanta, Georgia by @baileyasmith
