He is Risen!! Easter is my favorite holiday. There’s something so powerful about celebrating the resurrection of Christ. It gives me chills to think that Jesus gave His life so we could have eternity with Him. Because of His sacrifice, if we repent and believe the gospel, We have the promise of heaven and that fills my heart with overwhelming joy.

Reach for the hem of His garment.

In Scripture, a woman who had suffered for years was healed simply because, in faith, she reached out and touched the hem of Jesus’ garment. It wasn’t the fabric that healed her. It was her faith in the One wearing it.

When life feels heavy, don’t seek peace from the world. Run to the One who gives true peace.

Sometimes it’s so easy to get caught up in the weight of what we’re walking through that we forget where our strength comes from. This was such a sweet reminder to cling to the Lord, especially in the hard seasons.

I’m learning to look at my trials a little differently not as something that’s happening to me, but as an opportunity for God to grow my faith and draw me closer to Him. That perspective brings so much peace to my heart.

If you’re walking through something hard right now, I hope this encourages you too. God is faithful, and He never wastes a single trial.
