Happy National Sons Day to Marcel 💙🩵🤍 by @bailhatch

Found this one in the archives but it somehow never made it to Instagram. One of our dear customers at the wine store is a professional photographer and captured this at one of our holiday wine tastings years ago. @brianstantonphoto @bestwinevalues by @bailhatch

This week, my heart broke as we said goodbye to my grandma, my dad’s mom. She was just three months shy of 88 and she lived a life full of stories, strength, and love.

Because she lived in France, I only saw her during our trips there, but those moments became some of the most beautiful memories of my childhood! France will always carry pieces of her for me; her voice, her smile, her presence, moments I will cherish for the rest of my life.

We were planning to return this summer, and it devastates me knowing we didn’t make it in time. That ache is something words can’t fully hold. 💔

I am extremely grateful we brought Marcel to France two years ago so she could meet her great-grandson. Watching her meet him is a memory I will treasure forever! 🩵

Though saying goodbye feels unbearable, I find comfort in knowing she is finally reunited with her son, Denis, and her beloved husband, my grandfather, Ptit-Louis, together again, just as it should be! 🥺🥹

Until we meet again, my sweet Jaja!

Happy Mother’s Day to the best mom — and an even more amazing Glamma! You’ve always been my biggest cheerleader, but this past year, since my accident, you have not left my side and I couldn’t be more grateful. I honestly don’t know what I would’ve done without your strength, love, and constant support. I love you more than words can say! 💐🎉🍾💜 by @bailhatch

I can't believe my time at Cortlandt Healthcare has come to an end, after 3 whole months! Saying goodbye to some of my favorite nurses and aides from the night shift, I couldn't help but cry! 😭🥲💔 Eltha, the lady in red, she was one of my absolute favorites, Marcel would run down the hallway and into her arms, he loved her too. I will never forget how much they helped me in my time of need. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! ♥️🫶🏼 by @bailhatch

Rest In Peace to one of my favorite clients and Marcels BFF. 💔🙏🏼😢 Buzz and Marcel met when Marcel was just a few weeks old, I called him Marcels 250lb bestie! He grew up with him, learning how to walk by holding onto his back, learning how to be gentle with animals, how to feed them, the list goes on. Buzz taught Marcel a h3ll of a lot and he will truly be missed by everyone he came in contact with. I don't know how to break the news to my son, I am dreading the next time he asks "let's go to Buzz's house, I wana see Buzz". I'm happy he got to spend a bunch of time with him over the summer but I'm so sad I wasn't able to be there for the last few walks and to say my goodbyes. He will live on in our hearts, one dog I will surely never forget. RIP BUZZ! 💔🥲🥺🫶🏼♥️🙏🏼
