I didn’t realise it - but I was burnt out creatively, and needed something to take me away from the digital overload and pressure to keep posting. I found this course at @bainbridgeprint and knew I wanted the hands on experience of photogravure. A process of creating an etched copper plate and manually inking and printing onto paper.Each process done by hand, sometimes with the help of a peacock feather. Turning the heavy wheel and feeling indentations on the paper. Even the ‘mistakes’ were beautiful. I’ve realised now that I need to look up and use my hands to create and start to enjoy the process again. Thankyou to Lucy at @bainbridgeprint for your wonderful teaching.
