Historical day for us ! 🤩

We have collaborated with Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL - GMR) and created India’s first (perhaps worlds first too) customised feminine hygiene vending machines, these shall be placed outside each washroom for women at airports (T2 is already live)!

It’s special because

- Offers choice
The machines are one of a kind! So far small vending machines, hidden in washrooms dispensed pads. Issue - women use different period products like pads, tampons, liners, cups etc - offering only pads left them out. Now they have the choice ! Machines will dispense 5 top #Sirona period products to make travel easier for women (pads, panty liners, Menstrual cups, toilet seat covers & intimate wet wipes)

- Unprecedented convenience
It’s also special as these will be placed outside each washroom for women, so that those in need don’t have to look around for a pharmacy / store selling feminine hygiene products.

- It’s easy !
They are all powered by digital payment wallets, no need for cash !

- & It’s out in the open !
Machines have been placed right outside each washroom for women & not inside. For me, this is a big step, So far pads / periods - products or discussion have been very hush hush ! By placing these machines outside, we are normalising the availability, breaking the #taboo !

I am thankful to the DIAL team, Bureau Of Civil Aviation Security & Videh Jaipuriar Sir for taking this up. Looking forward to this going live on T3 and T1 soon! And hopefully at all other airports

Exciting news at @sironahygiene !! :)

We’ve built India’s first Feminine Hygiene Vending Machine offering multiple period products - because why should women have access to only pads?

We’re now looking to expand aggressively across universities, corporate offices, malls, airports, cafés, co-working spaces, and other high-footfall locations to ensure women never have to compromise on choice during their periods.
