The story continues. Love to my brother @mvillegas13 for keeping me sharp. I absolutely despise 'new car smell ' but fresh paper on the otherhand... gets me feeling like 2009 Lindsay Lohan. #OooWee #WeizGuys #WeReady #StoriesFromTheBlackBooks by @baked_griffin

I was in middle school when they asked us students (and our parents) to donate money to begin the building of covered walkways and pavilions for future students. I was maybe in 7th or 8th grade and thought it was stupid, since I would never benefit from this.

'A society grows great from old men planting trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in'. - Greek Proverb

I don't know when I came across this quote but I'll never forget it. It resonates now, more than ever. I understand right now the climate on this planet (politically, biologically, environmentally, socially) is severely unstable. Though, I don't understand why. Maybe it's a tree that has yet to be planted.

But what I do know and understand fully; is that it begins at day 0. If we can't ensure a better future for our own futures, then there is no future.

The healthy nurse the sick. The teachers go on to enlighten. The warriors go on to wage war.

We all begin at day 0. Let us not forget that.
