✨💍 Sweetest Send-Off for the Bride-to-Be 💍✨

Well the secret is out ! I had so much fun creating these custom heart cookies for Selena Gomez’s gorgeous bachelorette party in Cabo! 🌴☀️ Each cookie is decorated with hand-piped florals and lace details, finished with “S & B” to celebrate the happy couple.

The party was set against the most stunning Cabo backdrop—sun, ocean breezes, and endless laughter with her closest friends. 🥂🍹 It was such an honor to have my cookies be a sweet part of the celebration! 🍪✨

Congratulations to @selenagomez and @itsbennyblanco on the upcoming wedding !

Since there are lots of new faces here following recently, I thought perhaps I should reintroduce myself.

I’m Rebekah, a mom of 6, and, as many around here refer to me, “the cookie lady”. I accidentally started a business creating cookie art about 6 years ago and it’s been one of the sweetest surprise blessings from the Lord.

I love to laugh and a habit of being slightly inappropriate at times, 😬 particularly as it pertains to Valentine’s Day cookies (stay tuned … those are coming later this week!).

I love the mountains and long walks and time with my people and our pups. I’m an introvert and a homebody and I’ll almost always choose a night at home in comfy clothes over a night out.
I (usually) love cooking and trying new recipes for my family and it makes me smile big when I get to feed my kids and all their friends. Food is definitely one of my love languages!

Odd things about me: I love to eat ice cream with a plastic spoon (metal ruins the whole experience) and Saran Wrap brings out the worst in me. Technology stresses me out and I also hate being in control of the tv remote. So if I’m watching a show by myself , it’s on my laptop even if the tv is right in front of me. My family makes fun of me for all these things and I’ve embraced that I’m a weirdo in lots of ways. 😂

I am so thankful for the privilege of getting to create cookies for so many local families and events and it’s been such a joy in my life to connect with so many of you through my classes that I probably wouldn’t have met otherwise.

If you’ve never tried my cookies, I’d love the opportunity to design and bake for your next special celebration! Shoot me a message and let’s start planning.

Now for solidarity, tell me something weird about yourself in the comments. 👇🏻😏🍪❤️

How sweet it is to get to do something I love to support my family . ❤️

Yesterday’s post was kinda snarky and admittedly a little tongue in cheek, but so many of your kind words meant so much.
Today’s class was a sweet reminder that the Lord has blessed me with such a uniquely perfect (for me) job. When I stepped away from teaching middle school all those years ago, I had no idea I’d some day be teaching again, but doing it from my kitchen , sharing some of this wild cookie joy and fun and equipping other people to have fun with it too.

Thank you for continuing to show up for my classes, call me for orders, and spread my name to others when you hear they want cookies. I love my community and cherish the job I get to do. Truly.

Stay tuned for Christmas classes being announced soon! And if you want to put together a private class, shoot me a message. Ive been scheduling holiday office parties , corporate events , and neighborhood date nights ! Cookies are fun for EVERYONE. 😉

Someone recently posted online about me and suggested I should get a real job , not just making cookies. 🙄

So a little appreciation post for the people who decided there isn’t just one definition of a “real job.” ❤️

To the moms making cakes in their kitchens.
The photographers chasing golden hour.
The hairstylists building a clientele one appointment at a time.
The artists, musicians, makers, bakers, designers, freelancers, coaches, small business owners and side-hustlers.
The people turning a talent, a passion or a crazy little idea into a way to support their families.

Some people clock in.
Some people open a laptop at the kitchen table.
Some people work from a studio.
Some people work from their car.
Some people make cookies. 🍪

And some of us are lucky enough to build a life around something we genuinely love.

It may not look like a traditional career. It may not come with a fancy title or an office or a company directory listing.

But if it puts food on the table, pays the bills, gives your family more freedom, and lets you create something you’re proud of…

I’d say that’s pretty damn real.

So here’s a little high five to all of you doing things differently. 👏🏻

Keep building. Keep creating. Keep betting on yourself.

And maybe don’t let someone else’s very narrow definition of success convince you that what you’re doing isn’t enough. ❤️
