At @thehollywooddonutfactory on Las Olas Boulevard, we had the honor of sharing something far greater than a location—it’s a story of resilience, hope, and transformation.

This video highlights Legna, an incredible mother who faced life’s challenges head-on and, through love, guidance, and determination, has completely turned her life around. Today, she’s on a powerful path forward for herself and her two beautiful children—a true reunification story that reminds us what’s possible when people are supported, not judged.

We’re also proud to spotlight @browardvoices, a true beacon of hope for children in our community. Their work changes lives every single day, giving kids the support, advocacy, and love they deserve.

I’m just a small part of Legna’s journey—but moments like this are why we do what we do. Kindness and empathy aren’t optional—they’re everything. The more people we serve, the greater impact we can make, and the closer we get to creating something that truly lasts.

To Legna: we are proud of you. Your strength inspires more people than you know.

If this story moves you, share it. Support it. Be part of something bigger.

🍩 A Sweet Tradition Built on Family, Community, and Fresh Donuts 🍩

Few local businesses represent the spirit of South Florida quite like The Hollywood Donut Factory. Owned and operated by siblings @kpals1 and Bobby Palushaj, this family-run favorite has earned a loyal following by serving handcrafted donuts made fresh every morning, alongside a full menu of breakfast and lunch favorites. From classic glazed and Boston cream to unique flavors inspired by South Florida, every visit offers something delicious for every taste.

What truly sets @thehollywooddonutfactory apart is its commitment to the community. Kat and Bobby have built their business around quality, affordability, and giving back—supporting local charities, donating fresh products, sponsoring community events, and partnering with organizations throughout Broward County. Their passion for serving others is one of the many reasons we’re proud to call them both a valued community partner and sponsor of our events.

Whether you’re grabbing breakfast before work, meeting friends for coffee, or satisfying your sweet tooth, The Hollywood Donut Factory delivers the kind of hometown experience that keeps customers coming back. If you haven’t visited yet, make it your next local stop and experience why this family-owned business has become a South Florida favorite.

Be sure to visit The Hollywood Donut Factory in Hollywood or on Las Olas Boulevard and support one of the local businesses helping make our community stronger every day. taken in Las Olas Blvd, Downtown Ft Lauderdale by @bakedwithbrooksy

A powerful moment for our community. 💙

We’re honored to stand alongside the incredible advocates, volunteers, and leaders behind the @galbroward as Broward County officially proclaims April as Child Abuse Prevention & Volunteer Appreciation Month.

This recognition isn’t just a title — it represents the real, everyday work being done to protect, support, and fight for our children. The ones who need a voice. The ones who need guidance. The ones who deserve a second chance at stability, healing, and reunification.

Behind every case is a story.
A family working through challenges.
A child hoping for safety, love, and consistency.

And that’s where this mission matters most.

We believe in empathy over judgment.
We believe in rehabilitation, not rejection.
We believe that with the right support, families can rebuild — and futures can be changed forever.

If you’ve ever felt called to give back… this is your sign.

📍 Join us this Thursday at @patiobarpizza for a Mix & Mingle from 5PM-7PM
Come connect, learn more about what we do, and see how you can be part of something bigger than yourself.

Whether you have time to volunteer, resources to share, or simply want to understand — there’s a place for you here.

The future is shaped by those willing to step up today. Let’s lead the way. 💙

On my way to the @galbroward to pick up some toys for the kids we serve—small acts, big impact.

There are so many children in our community who just need someone to show up for them. If you’ve ever thought about making a difference, this is your sign.

Volunteer opportunities are available—take a moment to explore guardianadlitem.org or reach out to me directly anytime. I’d be more than happy to share how you can get involved.

Kindness is free… but to these kids, it means everything. If you’re in a position to help shape the future, it’s not just an option—it’s an obligation.
