What a beautiful Fall day today 🍂

It inspired me to put together a Fall stack. That ~ and today’s happy mail from Suzy @the.vintage.roads A beautiful color palette of Bakelite bracelets, paired with my zig-zag puzzle set.

I am absolutely smitten over this one!

I got this incredible Charles Elkaim bow tie Bakelite bracelet from Tara @sfbakelite I confessed to her I didn’t know much about this artisan, but was in love with this bracelet.

She gave me a brief history. They were made in his NYC workshop back in the 60’s. It was a process he invented and folks try to fake it to this day. You can tell in person this is second to none and made with extreme precision. Originally it was bright vibrant pink with white dots, which sounds gorgeous, but the patina it’s gained is stunning.

Swipe for a side view 🤩
I thought it looked so pretty in the vintage ash tray I picked up at an estate sale today 😊

Scored this amazing Bakelite set from Tara’s @sfbakelite sale last Sunday.

I’m so excited to add another Sonny Wayne meandering dots bracelet to my collection. It’s unique and definitely his artisan style people recognize. Set in a base of marbled raspberry along with the matching g tube carved set. So pretty in person, and especially in the sunlight.

Vintage carved “hinged” Bakelite bracelet with some lighter shades of green refurbished and artisan Bakelite.

The carved shade of green is gorgeous. I think for sure mixed with red at Christmas time will be pretty. Thanks for the speedy ship @the.vintage.roads - as always.

I do occasionally buy lucite bangles if they really speak to me. This daisy cut lucite spoke 😊

Thanks @the.vintage.roads for your super fast shipping as always. I love this!

Finally, I can go outside with a stack of bake on. Last week it was so hot and humid you avoided going outside at all cost 🥵

Octagon 4 dot marbled yellow/orange bracelet by Dombek, striped oval dots by Shultz.

New carved pierced red Bakelite beauty from @jessa_bake - thank you!

Dots with ruby prystal through wall inlays on gray/white/black marbling by Kent. I think this was my first purchase from him ❤️ and was my first post when I started this Bakelite account. Prior to this purchase, I thought “oh I’m not gonna spend a sizable amount on bracelets”. That went out the window when I saw this one. I had to have it. It’s a masterpiece.

These icicle dots are slowly gaining patina. Originally pink, then more of a peachy pink, and now I can see them headed toward butterscotch? 🤔

A simply gorgeous bracelet made by Kent. I included a top view photo of the dots, and then they drip. The flower bracelet is one of my favorites.

It’s pride month 🏳️‍🌈 so I thought I’d try to capture all the colors in one stack.

Sonny Wayne had my back on this one. Love his work.

My first reverse carved bracelet ~ green apple juice.

I wore these outside and carefully laid them in the grass. My last attempt at taking a photo outside without them on my arm didn’t turn out so well. Apple juice is really hard to photograph, indoors and out.
