Really love and respect this crew.

Creatives coming together - hair styling by @jakedavishair , colour @carmelblackburne makeup by @baker_makeup and photography by @dankennedyphoto

They are top of their respective games and wear their brilliant talents loosely (the best way) - plus they are a proper laugh too.

Same brief for me each time: big hair, big eyes and big connection. But each time - it’s a little different too.

Huge thank you to them and the wonderful @bbcsounds @tashjohansson for uniting them to make the cover for my first very own podcast: Ready To Talk with Emma Barnett.

The first episode just dropped and the response has been immense. I “went” first, as it were…

I would love you to join us, subscribe and let me know your take. Just search “Ready to Talk with Emma Barnett” wherever you listen to pods. #linkinbio

I’ve always been interested in the headlines and the biggest moments of people’s lives. Not just the headlines we are told to care about.

Over the last 10 years of live radio and TV I’ve interviewed more than 1,000 people and had thousands of conversations.

Now I get to talk, one to one, for longer and go deeper than often live programmes allow to people who have a story to tell and are ready to talk. It will be story and experience-led. Some people will be well known and others not. What unites them is a story to share. And hopefully we can all learn from.

I’ve been wanting to build this audio room of one’s own for a long time and finally I can invite you in. 💪

We are going to go there. Whenever there is.

The trailer for Ready to Talk with Emma Barnett (me!) is now live on @bbcsounds Apple and Spotify. The first episode drops this Friday (November 7)
Please may you subscribe and let me know what you think?
Raising my tea to you in thanks.

Hoping you are ready to listen 👂 🙏
