Yesterday was one of those days that reminds us just how good our team is.
Two aircraft deliveries. One new aircraft arriving. Multiple customers. A busy ramp. A lot of moving pieces.
And our crew handled it.
Everyone knew where they needed to be, stepped in where they were needed, communicated, and worked together to keep everything moving.
Days like this don't happen because of one person. They happen because you have a team that trusts each other and understands that getting the job done takes everyone.

We're investing in the next generation of avionics technicians. ✈️

Baker Avionics is proud to now participate in a U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Program through the Aircraft Electronics Association and Fastport.

This gives our developing technicians a structured pathway that combines paid, hands-on experience, technical instruction, progressive skill development and industry-recognized credentials while building a career in aircraft electronics.

The program also aligns technician development with the Aircraft Electronics Association's Certified Aircraft Electronics Technician (CAET) certification pathway.

For us, this isn't simply about filling positions.

It's about developing skilled avionics professionals, passing knowledge from experienced technicians to the next generation, and building a stronger future for our industry.

✈️ **More Cessna 310s can now upgrade to the Garmin GFC™ 600!**

Garmin has announced new FAA STC approvals for GFC 600 autopilot installations in select **Cessna 310P, 310Q and 310R models**, including their turbocharged variants.

For eligible Cessna 310 owners, this opens the door to Garmin's modern digital autopilot technology—and the new approval also includes support for **Smart Rudder Bias** when equipped with the required Garmin components.

🚁 When mission-critical aircraft need support, schedules matter.

Today we welcomed a drop-in helicopter for a remote sensor module exchange. This aircraft supports Weyerhaeuser forestry operations, including wildfire reconnaissance and forest management.

Because these aircraft play an important role in protecting forests and supporting firefighting efforts, we adjusted our schedule to get them back in the air as quickly as possible.

Whether it's planned maintenance, troubleshooting, AOG support, or an unexpected avionics issue, we're committed to helping operators minimize downtime and keep their aircraft mission-ready.

History meets modern avionics.

This week at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, we had the privilege of working on Piper Comanche #1 —the original prototype that first flew in 1956 and launched one of Piper's most iconic aircraft.

Our team completed the installation of a Garmin Flight Stream 510, performed the latest software updates, and corrected a system configuration issue to help keep this historic aircraft operating with today's technology.

It's always an honor to work on aircraft with such incredible history. Seeing a 70-year-old airplane benefiting from modern avionics is a great reminder that innovation doesn't replace history—it helps preserve it.

Thank you to everyone who makes it possible to keep these legendary aircraft flying for future generations.
