Meet Aaron Baker.

His journey in landscaping started when he was 13 years old with just one customer whose lawn he mowed twice a month. It wasn’t a business back then, it was simply a way to earn a little extra money while learning the value of hard work. In 2020, when COVID-19 made it difficult for businesses to hire, he decided to take matters into his own hands. Instead of waiting for an opportunity, he created one. He began growing his landscaping work into a side hustle, gradually adding more customers throughout high school.

Over the years, he learned that landscaping is about much more than cutting grass. Aaron developed an understanding of how weather affects lawns, how plants grow and thrive, how weeds impact a property’s health, and the proper techniques for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. Along the way, he also built skills that extend far beyond landscaping, like communication, integrity, reliability, time management, and the importance of treating every customer’s property as if it were his own.

As Baker entered college, he realized he wanted to build something that truly represented himself. In 2026, Baker Grounds Studio was born. The goal is simple: provide dependable, high-quality landscaping services to homeowners throughout Rhode Island, especially in the Providence area, while building a business rooted in trust, professionalism, and pride in our local communities. Every lawn he cares for is another opportunity to make a neighborhood look its best and give homeowners one less thing to worry about.

Outside of Baker Grounds Studio, Aaron serves as a manager at Goldfish Swim School and teaches youth tennis at Slater Park in Pawtucket. Working with families and young athletes has strengthened his leadership, patience, and commitment to serving others, qualities he brings to every customer he works with.

Aaron started with one lawn and a mower. Today, Baker Grounds Studio represents years of learning, persistence, and a passion for creating outdoor spaces that people can be proud of. by @bakergroundsstudio
