Your weekend plans just came out of the oven 🍂 Here’s everything happening at The Bakery District in downtown Fort Smith this weekend, October 16–18.

Friday kicks off with the community bike ride at 6:05, plant bingo at digs at 6, and live music from Dominic Roy & Crazyfolker.

Saturday starts slow with free yoga and mimosas at 9, then Frog and Toad storytime at bookish at 11. Larry B & Hazel close out the night on stage from 8:30 to 11.

Sunday, the Fort Smith Riverfront Blues Society takes over the patio for a blues jam from 1 to 6.

All weekend long, try Digs’ new dinner menu and fall cocktails, grab breakfast to go from 7 to 1, or hang out on the patio with our resident food trucks. Sarah J. Maas fans, don’t miss the last slides for Bookish’s pre-order and release-morning pickup details.

This Halloween, we are honored to host Whitney's Race, benefiting the @whitneymarshfoundation💜

In January 2018, Whitney Marsh was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She refused to let it define her. Through chemo and treatment at MD Anderson and in Arkansas, she kept running 10 miles a day, and her daughter Madison still couldn’t outrun her. Whitney passed away in November 2018 at just 41, but her kindness, grit, and love of running live on through her family and the foundation they built in her name.

Pancreatic cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the U.S. The Whitney Marsh Foundation is driven by a simple belief: survival shouldn’t depend on income or geography. Every year, our community comes together to raise funds and awareness and to make sure no patient is left behind.
