POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

since i got some new followers over the past years, im here to reintroduce myself again 🩵

hi everyone, im bakewithcel or celine/cel! i started this page back in 2022 because i wanted a place to showcase all my baking and basically just have fun with filming content! i also get to bake things i’ve never even thought to try like it’s just so fun learning as i go!

thank you to everyone that has shown me love and support these past 4 years! it truly means a lot and genuinely i love getting to create + edit these reels to post, plus getting to follow my fav bakers’ recipes cause without them there would be no bakewithcel… SO BIGGGG thank you to @preppykitchen, @ifyougiveablondeakitchen, @cookiedoughdiaries, @freshbeanbakery, @juliemarieeats, @teakandthyme, @butternutbakery, @wellmadebykiley and @constellationinspiration ! their bakes are included in this post🫶🏼🫶🏼

starting this page has made me gain so much confidence in baking, like how this year i actually baked a cake for the first time (2 cakes in one year) and even cinnamon rolls! i have lots of fun filming content and getting to bake and seeing so many people support me really does mean a lot so thank you everyone! 🥹💓

i baked my first cake ever! 🥹

if you know me, baking a cake has been on the top of my list for the longest time. i was too scared to try! got asked to do one for my cousin’s 1 year old birthday party and i went for it, so thank you to her for trusting me on my first cake:) i decided to make this its own post in honour of me baking one for the first time.. pretty proud of it😋

i baked it yesterday and frosted it this morning!! read all the tips and tricks on how to bake a cake, how to frost it.. i was pretty nervous on the frosting and decorating part. i read to bake the cake the day before, wrap it and put in the fridge cause a chilled cake is easier to frost and doing a crumb coat before actually spreading more frosting on. literally countless of articles and videos i was genuinely nervous about this and how it was gonna look but.. as my first one? i don’t think i did too bad and it tasted pretty amazing :)

obviously not the best or prettiest but lots to learn from, lots more practice to be done but the hard part is out the way of actually doing it! thank you to @butternutbakery for her small vanilla cake recipe and for all her tips in her blog 🫶🏼

here’s to many more cakes! thank you for all the love and support on bakewithcel 🩵🩵🩵
