✨ I love being able to mentor and meet others.✨

Starting a business is never easy; nobody tells you that enough. But every time I get invited back into a room like this, I’m reminded how much a little guidance can change the trajectory of someone’s whole journey.

My advice to every person in that room today: find people who’ve already done what you’re trying to do. Ask the questions. Sit in the feedback. It will save you years.

Business will always have its ups and downs. But if you keep going, you already win.

Laws cap your limit.The internet doesn’t-here’s how👇🏽

First, let me be very clear. I totally respect our states cottage law. As a bakery business coach-I have even been blessed to travel to DC and speak on Capitol Hill to policy makers and senators about cottage laws for all bakers. However- change does not come over night.

So rather than complain about the things that the law limits me to do, I would rather be proactive and find additional ways to earn an income -while still doing what I love.

That’s where digital products come in at-recipes, templates, guides, resources that are already in my business; these are items that I can create once and sell over and over.🤑

No sales caps. No baker burnout-because I have products that are selling for me while I’m fulfilling my orders.🙏🏾(because yes,you can and should do both🥳)

I never imagined I’d be a business owner.✨💫

I just needed extra money to survive.

Years ago, I was living paycheck to paycheck. Some months I didn’t even know how I was going to make it. I remember checking my bank account and praying something would change.

I started baking on the side just to bring in a little extra money. I started my business with just one baking pan and a plan. No fancy equipment. Just a dream and a lot of late nights.

I put myself in rooms that felt uncomfortable and showed up for myself even when others didn’t believe in my dream.

Fast forward — I built a consistent 6-figure baking business from my home kitchen. I have been able to pay off debts and leave my corporate job to bake from home full time. 🙌🏾

Looking back, I realize it wasn’t talent that changed my life. It was learning how to build a business, not just bake.

That’s exactly why I created a community where I share the marketing strategies, pricing tools, business systems, and resources that helped me grow from baking with just one pan to a full-time baking business with multiple streams of revenue 🙏🏾.

Every single day, we have a choice.

We can criticize… or we can encourage.
We can tear someone down… or we can help build them up.

The internet doesn’t need more outrage. It needs more kindness.🙏🏾

Over the past weeks I have realized that if someone’s content, business, or values don’t align with yours, you don’t have to follow them. You don’t have to engage with them. You can simply keep scrolling and invest your time in the people and businesses that do align with you.🤗

Remember that there’s a real person behind every account. Someone with a family, a business they’re trying to grow, bills to pay, and battles you’ll never see through a screen.

Let’s be known as women and men who celebrate each other’s wins, offer constructive feedback with grace when it’s appropriate and welcomed , and choose encouragement over public criticism.

The online community is big enough for all of us to succeed. Let’s leave it better than we found it.
