I’ve added some sentences that were actually said to me during dates. It’s interesting how many people talk about mental health, respect, and appreciation, yet so few seem to live by those values.

Ghosting, breadcrumbing, and benching have become common in dating culture. But even on dates, some people can be really mean and have the audacity to speak so poorly to you. Honestly, I was surprised every time by how some people operate.

Yes, it hurt. But I also came to understand that these individuals are deeply dissatisfied and frustrated with themselves. They really need to be in therapy. Such people shouldn’t be on dating apps, as they only cause harm to others.

Even when it stings, just remember: people who try to pull you down are already beneath you. And please, never forget how dope you are ⚡️✨
