This went even better than I ever imagined, and I’m still riding the high! 😭✨ A huge shoutout to @it.jillian for capturing all of our performances with this AMAZING footage! 🎥🫶🏽 There’s so much more to share, so keep your eyes peeled for more videos coming soon! 👀 This was everything I hoped this series would be and MORE. We’re Keeping It Going! 🩷💃🏾 It’s official: our space is BOOKED and Balanced Movement Dance Classes are continuing through the end of 2026! 🥹🩷 Thank you SO much to everyone who has taken a class, come back for another, brought a friend, shared a post, or supported this little dance community in any way. Y’all are the reason I get to keep doing this, and I’m so excited to see what this next season brings! ✨ Weekly Schedule Mondays + Thursdays: Dance Choreo Tuesdays: Heels 👠 Wednesdays: Chair 🪑 Last class of each month: Pop-Up Genre 🎉 🎟️ Class Packs Drop-In: $20 5-Class Pack: $85 8-Class Pack: $120 10-Class Pack: $140 Student Drop-In: $10 Beginner-friendly. Come dance, move your body, build some confidence, and have FUN with us. 🩷 #adultdanceclasses #wilmingtonnc #groupfitnessclasses #thingstodoinwilmington #wilmingtonfitness September ✈️ September is a little shorter because I’ll be on vacation September 19–26! ✈️🌴 We’ll still have plenty of opportunities to dance before I leave, and don’t worry—I’m making up for the shorter month with fuller schedules in October😏 Consider September our little warm-up for everything coming this fall. 🍂💃🏾 October 🧛🏼‍♀️🎃 October is getting THEMED, because there was simply no way I was going to let spooky season pass us by. 😂🧛🏼‍♀️ Every class will feature either an obviously Halloween-inspired song OR something pulled from some of my favorite vampire movies. 🩸🦇 So expect a month of dark, dramatic, sexy, spooky energy across Dance Choreo, Heels, Chair, and our monthly pop-up. Costumes may not be required…but getting into character is always encouraged. 😏🎃 November 🍂🤎 November brings us back to our regularly scheduled dancing, with Thanksgiving off to enjoy the holiday. 🦃 And in the spirit of the month, I want this one to be about gratitude—not just for this community, but for the movement our bodies allow us to experience. Our bodies don’t have to move perfectly to deserve celebration. They get to learn, play, sweat, feel sexy, be silly, try something new, and DANCE. 💃🏾 So this month, we’re moving with a little extra gratitude. 🤎 December 🎂🎄 It’s my birthday month!!! 🥳🎂💃🏾 by @balancedintimacy
Cruising with my brother & best friend to celebrate this man graduating HVAC school! 🎓🚢🥂 We had the BEST time… minus the fact that apparently every port day needed a little rain 🌧️😂 But we still made the most of it! We went zip lining and spent the day at an all-inclusive resort in Cozumel 🇲🇽🏝️, explored Roatán, Honduras 🇭🇳, met some amazing people, and somehow ended up doing a bar crawl around the entire ship. 😂 And yes… we rode the rainbow 🌈🌈 and took a shot/drink of every color. Needless to say, I was LIT. 😂🍹 Maybe a little too much drinking for one week, but a whole LOT of laughing, dancing, memories, and fun. 🥹❤️ So grateful for the break from the day-to-day and, most of all, for getting to experience it all with two people I love so much. 💕 Cheers to new adventures, new memories, and celebrating BIG accomplishments! 🥂🎓🚢 #carnivalmardigras #cruise #vacation #cozumel #roatan by @balancedintimacy

Philly weekend ❤️✨ After almost a year, it felt SO good to be back with family. 🥹 I got to visit my dad at his school and watch him teach, which was so nostalgic and brought me right back to being a kid. 🥰 And hearing his colleagues go on and on about how much they love him made my heart so full. ❤️ Then I got some much-needed sister time—eating, talking, catching up, and getting our nails done. 💅🏽👯‍♀️ Then it was time to get fancyyy. 💃🏽✨👗 Got all dressed up in glittery red for our family gala, ate some AMAZING food, and celebrated our family and the legacy that came before us. ❤️ We wrapped up the weekend with a family cookout in our matching jerseys 🏈, good food, lots of chilling and catching up, and of course ended the night the way my family knows best—a kickback at Dad’s with karaoke. 🎤😂🎶 Almost a year was way too long. So grateful for this weekend, my family, and the reminder of where I come from. ❤️ Until the next Philly trip…or maybe y’all can come my way next time 👀✈️😂 by @balancedintimacy

🦋🐾✨ There is something deeply healing about remembering that we were made for more than just surviving. This weekend was full of dancing, singing at the top of my lungs, friendship, joy, and embracing a little more of my wild self. 🪩💛 One thing I loved about Kesha’s message is her “Animal” community — the invitation to stop shrinking, stop performing, and allow yourself to be your authentic, untamed self. As someone who works in somatics and intimacy, I think we often forget that embodiment isn’t only about sitting with pain or healing old wounds. It’s also about expanding our capacity for pleasure, freedom, play, self-expression, connection, and being fully alive. Sometimes healing looks like a deep conversation. Sometimes it looks like screaming your favorite song with a friend at a concert. 🎶✨ Here’s to being a little more wild, a little more free, and a little more ourselves. 🐾🌈 #EmbodiedLiving #SomaticHealing #Authenticity #JoyPractice #SelfExpression by @balancedintimacy
Love has never grown smaller by being shared.🌈💛 As a Christian, I know this post may be controversial for some. But one of the things I’ve learned through both faith and somatic work is that every person longs for the same things: to be seen, known, accepted, and loved. I don’t have all the answers. I’m still wrestling with Scripture, theology, and difficult questions. But I refuse to stop seeing the humanity in people while I wrestle. For now, I’m choosing curiosity over certainty, relationship over fear, and love over exclusion. And if I’m wrong about something, I hope I err on the side of loving people too much rather than too little. 💛 #Pride #EmbodiedFaith #SomaticHealing #FaithJourney #LovePeopleWell by @balancedintimacy
