Life of an NPC Merchant While my main work is digital Illustration, offline I make sure to attend the blossoming southeast asian renfaire scene as an NPC merchant.Nothing more fun to me than handcrafting and displaying wares for adventurers to find and add to their story. To be a background character in numerous ongoing stories is the perfect vantage point for a fantasy illustrator, getting to see and watch people wearing characters they created and exchange some stories along the way.With my great love for @renfaireph , my guild and I found ourselves on the shores of @lioncityfaire to see and support them by crossing the sea.It was an absolute treat to see friends old and new on their own adventurers. True bards onstage, authentic storytellers, and sincere joy in every traveller that passed. The annual Philippine discussion of flowering trees!My favorite flowering tree is the narra, and I grew up adoring one narra tree in my hometown school, it still stands there today, showering golden every year ⭐🌿🌙🍀🟡🍃🌕Unfortunately the cutting of trees in urban neighborhoods had plagued the country and continues to be a problem, made worse by bribery and short sighted approvals by authorities.I say get as much narra into the streets as we can. It has been the national tree of the Philippines since 1934 and is currently standing as an endangered species, allegedly extinct already in other SEA countries.
