On 19.11.2023, in the last week of my 30’s, I entered my final UN country - Libya. It was surreal, emotional and thrilling all at once. After checking with @nomadmaniaworld - to the best of our knowledge we believe it is highly likely I may be the first person with a disability to have achieved this, which feels pretty unreal!

I have been so fortunate and privileged to be able to travel to all 193 UN countries. I have done this as a visually impaired (stargadt’s disease, macular degeneration and double vision) alopecian.

My disability has not prevented me from reaching my goal, but wow has it been incredibly challenging at times -
Having to constantly adapt, and work out new ways to do the things others can do without thinking.

Absolutely massive thanks to my family, friends, colleagues and fellow travellers that have supported and helped me along the way. You know who you are and you are amazing. I really appreciate everything you have done for me.

Reaching this goal is not just for me but for:
- all the disabled people that have been told they can’t or shouldn’t do something because it will be hard.
- For all the alopecians that struggle with self esteem and confidence issues.
- For anyone who has challenges that take real strength, courage and determination to meet, every single day.
- For those people that have no one that looks like them to look up to.

Please know that although this goal has taken me over twenty years to complete, has sometimes been incredibly tough and challenging, and often there have been tears of frustration, if you really set your mind to something it really can be possible that your dreams will come true.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of my journey, for the support, the fun, the shared experiences and the ideas which has made this journey so incredible!
