Sky-high highs and rock-bottom lows. The older I get, the more I realize that life is a series of waves which seem to be getting stronger each year. Or is it just our perception? The highs feel higher, the lows feel lower. All we can do is hope that everything eventually evens out into a calm, flat line on a peaceful blue sea 🏖️

From trekking in Nepal and reaching Everest base camp, riding a motorcycle to the Arctic Ocean, overlanding through 5 provinces, 2 territories and 6 states, discovering the West Coast of Mexico, rocking it at the country music festival in Montana, hiking the Adirondack mountains and the Grand Canyon, meeting unbelievable people along the way and making new friendships and reinforcing the old ones. All while closing some of the largest real estate deals of my life, helping dozens of beautiful people find their new homes and sell the old ones and officially launching a private mortgage fund.

To losing several close members of Maria’s extended family, ending lifelong friendships, dealing with major health issues, facing some of the hardest reality checks of my life, having my heart broken, being betrayed and used by people I opened up to and having to rethink and rearrange my entire life from the beginning which is not easy in your 40’s.

This was my 2025. A complete tsunami of a year which somehow feels like a peaceful blue sea in the end.

I wouldn’t have made it through any of this without my dear wife Maria — my true partner in crime. Thank you for all your love and support. I’m certain we’ll get through anything life throws at us 🙏

I also want to thank those who supported our family this and past years while going through some of the hardest times. Thank you ❤️

An absolutely gorgeous sunset on one of the campsites of Lake Superior Coastal Trail. Hands down it is the most challenging and beautiful trail in Ontario. It took us 3 full days and 2 nights to conquer 87km of track and over 2,100m of elevation. As much as it feels like summer today which makes you want to believe that the living is still easy as Ella Fitzgerald would sing. We arrived at this beautiful Thanksgiving Day 🍁🌾🍂 with fall just around the corner.
