1. Focusing on themselves instead of their audience: 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒
Founders often talk about their company, their products, and their achievements without considering what their target audience actually wants to hear.

2.Inconsistent posting and engagement: 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽
Founders often start with a burst of enthusiasm but struggle to maintain a consistent posting schedule. The consistency only remains on festivals like Diwali, Holi etc. They may also neglect to engage with comments and messages from their audience.

3 Ignoring data and analytics: 📈
Tracking metrics like website traffic, social media engagement, and conversion rates is equally important. A lot of the founders do also not realise that their account is not a business account for them to be able to view all of this.

Why Non-Creative Individuals Excel in Storytelling?

1. Clarity Beats Complexity
Non-creatives don’t overthink. They tell stories without jargon, making their message clear and relatable.

2. Authenticity Shines Through
They rely on real-life experiences, which connect better with audiences than fabricated tales.

3. Structure Is Their Strength
With a logical mindset, they naturally organize stories into beginning, middle, and end—keeping the audience hooked.

4. Emotion is top priority
Non-creatives focus on the heart of the story rather than unnecessary fluff, making their narrative hit harder.

5. They Speak to Solve
Their storytelling often revolves around solving problems or sharing insights, making it practical and actionable.

Mistake #3
I gave some things too much time, and some too little.

My last project was for my Exam, for which I planned to create a 20th Century India Themed Cooking Web Series all by myself. As we all are in the middle of a pandemic, there is shortage of people to work with. This is the reason I had to do a lot of the things myself.

This includes, cinematography, sound, direction, scriptwriting, production design, editing and so on. It was definetely too much work that I knew I couldnt have finished all by myself.

I divided some smaller tasks and found these amazing people who were willing to help me with my project.

However, there was still a lot on me. During Pre-Production, I had spent so much time together trying to Figure out how will I bring out a 1952 India theme.

I knew I spent a lot of time on pre-production, and it was also neccessary. However, I compromised on cinematography because I didnt plan that portion out well. I didn't give it as much time as it required.

Was it feasible? What are my backups?

Go check out the Web Series, it's a link in my Bio and tell me what you think about it.

I think it was definetely pretty challenging for me, and I got to learn so much from it. Things that I would be able to share with you too! So you pay attention to those elements.

Hey! Posting after a really long time after being done with my exams. I really really missed my family. I’ve been getting a lot of texts and you’ve been very supportive. Thank you so much for that. ⁣
⁣
There are definitely tons of lessons that I got from this irregular break I had from posting on this account. I’ll talk about that some other time. ⁣
⁣
Today, I’m presenting to you the different kinds of Camera movements in film and also talking about why they’re used: ⁣
⁣
1. Pan⁣
2. Tilt ⁣
3. Dolly / Track⁣
4. Rotate ⁣
5. Handheld ⁣
6. Shift Focus ⁣
7. Zoom⁣
⁣
Try using one or multiple of them in your films. Mastering camera movements is one of the most important part of filmmaking. Specially handheld without a gimbal. ⁣
⁣
Comment down below if you missed my post and motivate me to be more regular. ⁣
⁣
And Save this post for later! ⁣ ⁣ ⁣

Why sound is the most important aspect in film?⁣
⁣
I learnt this much later. However I want you to know the importance of sound. Perhaps sit search on YouTube for Films without foley sounds/music/dialogue. ⁣
⁣
There’s never an excuse for why you shouldn’t put efforts and money in a film you’re making. ⁣
⁣
People are not willing to compromise on Cinematography or Story or even editing, so why compromise on sound? ⁣
⁣
Want to learn more about sound? ⁣
