MANCHESTER, N.H. — Top-seeded Trinity captured the NHIAA Division I state championship Saturday, defeating No. 6 Londonderry 11-4 behind a dominant offensive performance and strong pitching from starter Brady Sirois.The Pioneers wasted no time, erupting for five runs in the first inning. Tristan Lucier singled to score one run, Aiden Harris singled to score another, and Cal Lucier added a sacrifice fly that drove in three more runs, putting Trinity firmly in control from the outset.Chris Centorino was the offensive catalyst for the Pioneers, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three doubles and two RBI. Centorino doubled in the first, third, fifth, and sixth innings, with his sixth-inning double adding to Trinity's cushion. Lucier collected two hits in two at-bats and stole four bases, as the Pioneers swiped six bags on the afternoon.Sirois earned the win on the mound, working four innings and allowing six hits and two runs while striking out three and walking one. Casey Marsh absorbed the loss for the Lancers, lasting four innings and surrendering six runs on six hits with four strikeouts and four walks.For Londonderry, Jace Ruggiero led the offense with a 3-for-4 effort and two RBI, while Sully Daron went 2-for-3. BELMONT, N.H. — Belmont captured the Division III state championship Saturday with a 10-2 victory over Derryfield at Delta Dental Stadium, clinching the title behind a dominant pitching performance and a seven-run third inning that put the game out of reach.Wyatt Divers went the distance for the Red Raiders, tossing all seven innings while allowing six hits and two runs — only one earned — walking two and striking out seven to earn the win. The complete-game effort anchored a Belmont squad that never relinquished the lead after taking charge in the bottom of the first.The Red Raiders seized the lead in the first inning when Derryfield committed an error, Jack Crockford grounded out and Sam Binder grounded out, each plating a run to make it 3-1 after Derryfield's J Larson had singled home a run in the top of the frame.Belmont then blew the game open in the third, sending seven runs across. Binder drew a walk that scored one, Eddie Rochenski hit into a fielder's choice that scored two more, Brady Fysh singled home a run, Alex Rowley singled home another, Brayden Townsend grounded out for a run and Divers grounded out to cap the outburst. Binder finished with two RBI to lead the Red Raiders, who drew six walks and stole six bases on the afternoon. Rowley swiped two of those bases.Larson took the loss for the Cougars, lasting two innings and allowing seven runs — five earned — on three hits with four walks and three strikeouts. MANCHESTER, N.H. – The second-seeded Kingswood Knights were crowned 2026 NHIAA Division II Baseball State Champions on Saturday with a thrilling 10-9 victory over No. 4 St. Thomas at Delta Dental Stadium.The Knights plated eight runs in the first inning to take a commanding lead, but the Saints battled back to tie the game at 9-9. PLAISTOW, N.H. — Canaan Locke was nearly untouchable in relief, and No. 1 Trinity rallied for four runs over the fifth and sixth innings to eliminate No. 13 Timberlane 6-2 in a Division I semifinal on Wednesday. The Pioneers advance to Saturday's title game to take on No. 6 Londonderry. Locke earned the win for the Pioneers, allowing no hits and no runs over three and one-third innings while striking out five and walking four. Mason Ellison started on the hill for Trinity, giving up four hits and two runs over two innings with two strikeouts and five walks. Mason Devall closed things out with one and two-thirds scoreless innings, surrendering no hits, striking out two and walking one.Timberlane actually struck first, scoring two runs in the opening inning — including on a single by Kieran Lamb that plated one. But the Owls could not sustain the momentum. A Timberlane error helped Trinity tie the game at two in the fourth, and a single by Tristan Lucier gave the Pioneers the lead for good, 3-2, in the fifth.Lucier and Nolan Lavigne were the offensive engines for Trinity, each driving in two runs. Lucier and Conor Hurley each finished with two hits. Ollie Service swiped two bases as part of a four-steal effort by the Pioneers, who also drew six walks as a team.Lamb absorbed the loss for the Owls, going five and two-thirds innings and allowing six runs — five earned — on seven hits with four strikeouts and four walks. LONDONDERRY, N.H. — No. 6 Londonderry jumped out to a four-run lead through two innings and never looked back, defeating No. 15 Portsmouth 6-3 in a Division I semifinal at Holman Stadium on Wednesday. The Lancers advance to the title game to take on top-seeded Trinity on Saturday.The Lancers got on the board in the bottom of the first inning when Caden Jordan singled down the left field line and Carter Washington followed with a sacrifice bunt, each play accounting for a run. Londonderry extended its lead to 4-0 in the second inning, with Jordan singling to center field to push the score further out of reach. Washington finished the game with two RBI, as did Jordan.Colin Philcrantz earned the win for the Lancers, tossing six innings and allowing six hits and three runs — just two earned — while striking out five and walking one. Cam O'Donnell closed things out with a save, working the final inning and allowing one hit while striking out two.Connor Loughlin paced Londonderry's 11-hit attack, going 3-for-3 batting eighth in the order. Jaylen Stott and Jace Ruggiero each added multiple hits for the Lancers.Portsmouth got on the board with three runs in the sixth inning, but the deficit proved too large to overcome. Jake Poulin and Jackson Hooper each drove in a run for the Clippers. HOLLIS, N.H. — Alex Trudel struck out 13 and allowed just one earned run over 6 and two third innings as Souhegan defeated Hollis-Brookline 2-1 on Saturday in the Division II quarterfinals.Trudel was dominant from the start, surrendering five hits and one run while walking two in his gem on the mound. Blake Powers recorded the final out to earn the save for the Sabers.Hollis-Brookline drew first blood in the bottom of the first when Matthew Bergin launched a solo home run to left field, giving the Cavaliers an early 1-0 lead. Bergin finished the afternoon 3-for-3 with the RBI.Souhegan answered in the top of the second when Brody Smith singled down the left field line to drive in a run and tie the game at one. Smith, who went 2-for-3 on the day, also scored the go-ahead run in the fifth after a Hollis-Brookline error plated what proved to be the decisive run.Ian Sinclair started for Hollis-Brookline, allowing one unearned run on one hit over four innings with five strikeouts and three walks. EXETER, N.H. — No. 15 Portsmouth used a go-ahead run in the top of the sixth inning and two-plus innings of shutout relief from Cam Stacy to eliminate No. 7 Exeter, 6-5, in a Division I quarterfinal Saturday.The Clippers seized the lead for good when an error plated a run in the sixth, breaking a 5-5 tie. Portsmouth had jumped in front earlier in the fourth inning when Max Herter drew a walk to score one run and Jackson Hooper followed with a single that drove in two more, giving the Clippers a 5-3 advantage. Exeter had briefly led 3-2 after Brennan Schimoler crushed a home run to left field in the bottom of the third, but Portsmouth answered with that three-run fourth.The Blue Hawks pulled even in the fifth on a Will Tobin single and an error, setting up the decisive sixth.Stacy earned the win in relief, tossing two and one-third innings and allowing no hits and no runs while striking out three and walking one. Ethan Battles absorbed the loss for Exeter, giving up one unearned run on two hits over two and two-thirds innings, with four strikeouts and one walk.
